We leverage decades of end-to-end and full-life cycle experience to help our clients realize their strategic objectives:
- Defend or expand your revenue
- Reengineer workflows to create efficiency and reduce capital requirements
- Explore new markets with new networked modes of interaction
Trading Automation
- Credit eTrading: Collaboration with a tier-one bank to define a technology modernization strategy and reference architecture to enable the shift to automated pricing, execution and hedging of corporate bonds and CDS.
- Rates eTrading: Reengineered automation strategy for NA Flow Rates business of top-tier European bank. Recommendations will achieve improvements in pricing and hedging efficiency including leveraging internal liquidity to reduce transaction costs. Conclusions based on an analysis of current pricing and hedging methodologies for US Treasuries and IRS; market activity; customer activity and transaction profitability.
Innovation
Co-author of papers in Celent's Future of the Fixed Income Technology series
- Part 2: Beyond Bonds: The Fixed Income industry is amid the wave of change this time driven by several factors including: new cloud-based SaaS providers, extraction of value from middle and back office workflows. This report focuses on the impact on Flow Rates trading, collateral management, the advent of networked collaboration.
- The Cloud Cometh: Technological advances have set the stage for low-latency trading venues to become cloud hosted resulting in substantial opportunities to realize efficiencies across trading workflows. The benefits for the front office from a move to cloud will be both substantive and transformative.
- Part 3, Developments in Price Discovery and Execution Explores the impact of market infrastructure changes, regulatory responses, increasing automation, and ever more pervasive cloud usage on secondary trading of Fixed Income products . On the one hand, the industry and its regulators are struggling to adapt and prepare for liquidity challenges. On the other, automation and technological innovation are addressing these challenges and creating the potential for new modes of trading.

MVP design and implementation
Product/technology design and hands-on development of an MVP for a dating site.
Technology
Environment: AWS hosted (Amplify, GraphQL, DynamoDB, Cognito), Node.js, React, Python.
Quantitative Models Web Service
Product/technology design and hands-on development of a
prototype valuation/risk web service enabling calculations for traditional and DeFi assets.
Technology Environment: Quantlib, Oat++, C++
Infrastructure Provider Product Strategy
Comprehensive review for a software firm interested in repositioning its product to gain the mindshare of end-users in CVA risk management. Ran onsite workshops to provide a deeper understanding of the marketplace and the product's end usage in risk management; and to develop marketing opportunities. Created a whitepaper to address current issues and best practices in risk management architecture and implementation with a focus on CVA.
CDM in Python:
In collaboration with two other firms we have created a Python implmentation of the
Common Domain Model.
Other than the platform's native Java implementation, this is the most comprehensive implementation of the new standard.
Technology Environment: Java, xTend, Python, Rosetta
MVP design and implementation
Product/technology design and hands-on development of an MVP for a dating site.
Implmentation included creating a web service wrapper for an astrological service.
Technology Environment: AWS hosted (Amplify, GraphQL, DynamoDB, Cognito), Node.js, React, Python.

Front Office and Enterprise Risk
Led global cross-functional reengineering effort to improve risk management, stransaction efficiency, and control. Key objectives were to increase insight and accuracy, support innovation with rapid time to market for new products, and support transaction growth with rapid “time to volume” for successful products. The first phase delivered in-house built highly scalable technology for cross-asset risk management and OTC derivatives trade lifecycle management for CDS, callable CDS, OCBs, synthetic CDOs, and callable CLNs which supported daily generation and analysis of over six million risk factors. Technology Environment: Java, Sybase, FPML, IBM (Platform) Symphony.
Infrastructure Operations Operating Model Design and Outsourcing
Led infrastructure services transformation to align to a substantially smaller business and application footprint. Strategic goals were to reduce costs by outsourcing and by reengineering Infrastructure services to migrate to the public cloud. Led the entire outsourcing process including ITIL-based service definition, RFP, vendor selection, deal negotiation, and transition to the provider generating annual operating savings of 40%.
